Job Summary:

The Program Support Worker/Receptionist provides front‑line and general administrative program support. This position is often the first point of contact for clients and community members and is responsible for creating a welcoming, respectful, and culturally safe environment. This position also supports the JP Service Coordination team with light administrative and logistical tasks related to individual & group requests, intake, reporting, and client navigation.

Job Description:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, visitors, and service providers, both in person, by phone, or by email.
  • Greet clients in a respectful and culturally safe manner and direct them to the appropriate program coordinator or services.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries, ensuring timely follow‑up or referral.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized common area for the clients.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for program staff as needed.
  • Support walk‑in clients with basic intake screening and routing to appropriate programs, as needed.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the program staff.
  • Assist with filing, record‑keeping, and maintaining confidential client and program records.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, tracking tools, and internal documentation.
  • Arranging travel and accommodations, when required
  • Booking and coordinating program space for service delivery
  • Work alongside JP Service Coordinators to support preparation, delivery, and reporting for JP individual & group requests by completing logistical and administrative tasks before, during, and after service delivery.
  • Complete the Service Coordination Support Tracker for individual and group requests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager to support program and organizational operations.
