Working in collaboration with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) High-Risk Youth Team, the Indigenous Youth Outreach & Empowerment Team (IYOES) provides street outreach services and weekly 1-1 support to youth 13-18 years old who are, or are at risk of becoming, street entrenched or who have already engaged in high-risk behavior. Working from a harm reduction approach, we provide non-judgmental support and help youth access services and resources to find housing or employment, return to their families or caregivers, enroll in school or training, positively address alcohol and drug issues, and other issues and concerns. IYOES accept MCFD referrals only.
