Director at Large
Jennifer LaRue is an entrepreneur and started a sole proprietorship in the arts. As an Indigenous, Simpcw Secwepemc Artist, she adds a contemporary spin on traditional beading made into jewelry. Light’s Rhythm Beaded Jewelry – by Jennifer LaRue, is just one avenue of work she has created for herself. Jennifer is also a volunteer with FRAFCA, and this came to be while she was networking for support in her advocacy.
Jennifer has been stubbornly, and consistently advocating for herself, family, and community within the Justice System by helping Indigenous prisoners such as her family members, and other community members who struggle to maintain familial connections with their incarcerated loved ones.
