Phillip Hall is a member of the Skowkale First Nation and a former chief of the same. He was reportedly the first – First Nations person to be elected in the City of Chilliwack municipal elections, serving as Councillor. He also served for a number of years as the First Nations Health Authority Regional Liaison where he supported the Surrey Indigenous community by helping and informing the “All Our Relations” Report which has guided much of the work of FRAFCA. He is currently the Manager of the Coqualeetza Cultural Education Centre in Chilliwack, BC and continues to be an active leader and advocate for Indigenous people in the Fraser Region.
