CEDAR SIEMS (Elder Program)

Our Cedar Siems Elder program creates a welcoming and culturally safe space where Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and Cultural Advisors can gather in community. Through weekly gatherings, shared meals, teachings, storytelling, and cultural activities, Cedar Siems strengthens intergenerational connections and helps preserve Indigenous traditions, language, and knowledge for future generations.

Our Elders play a vital role in supporting families by sharing wisdom, cultural teachings, parenting guidance, traditional medicines, ceremonial knowledge, and lived experiences. Cedar Siems provides opportunities for children and families to deepen their sense of identity, belonging, and connection to culture in a supportive environment.

Through traditional arts, language teachings, songs, stories, and ceremony, Cedar Siems nurtures wellness, healing, and cultural pride while fostering strong community relationships and cultural continuity for generations to come.
