Aboriginal Infant Development Program

Aboriginal Infant Development Program (AIDP) is a voluntary home visit-based program that provides screening and assessments for children 0-6 years of age. Consultants work closely with biological families, foster families and social workers to focus on family stabilization and child development, including assisting families with Ministry involvement, speech and language, occupational therapy and physiotherapy appointments and much more.

Program Services

  • AIDP services the Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Tsawwassen and Cloverdale areas
  • Home visits to support healthy child development and family stabilization
  • Accompaniment to Ministry meetings and other medical/health appointments
  • ’Little Moccasins’ session once a month to streamline referrals and assist children and families on our waitlist
